ORISHIBORI a one-of-a-kind, high-end, handmade home décor line launches with signature hand-dyed patterns for decorative linen and silk pillows, throws, tabletop and leather wall décor. Designed, developed and handcrafted in New York City, Designer and Stylist, Oriana, expresses her love of color and passion for hand dying via Shibori, an ancient Japanese method of organic dye techniques.

“The patterns are created by hand and thus slightly different, making each piece a true one-of-a-kind through the magic of dye,” says designer, Oriana of ORISHIBORI. “Colors take to the natural fibers and bleed to create some of the most opulent patterns I have ever seen, thus a perfect medium to juxtapose the ancient method with modern pillows, throws and wall coverings.”

Working with her hands, the designer gives each piece authenticity and attention, something that is lost in today’s fast-paced mass design industry. Constantly experimenting with new dying techniques, and dying anything she can get her hands on, Oriana began with creating decorative pillows for her bed. ORISHIBORI, the new home décor lifestyle brand, meets the need for high-end, hand-dyed textiles with sustainable and organic opulence.
