Oriana DiNella is the designer behind the brand ORI SHIBORI, which highlights the ancient Japanese hand dyed Shibori technique. Studying marketing at Northeastern University and fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design, Oriana combined her love of design and business and launched ORI SHIBORI in 2013. ORI SHIBORI began in New York City as a home decor luxury collection, where she created items for the home out of silk, leather and linen. Her first collection was well received and was featured in Vogue, Lonny, Interior Design Magazine, Food & Wine among others. In 2018, she decided to work with the more accessible medium of cotton and the beach collection was born. Working with her hands, Oriana gives each piece authenticity and attention. The intimacy of working with the dye and the mystery of how the dye combines with the fibers will forever create an excitement, which fuels her passion to create and design. Oriana has been working in the fashion industry for 13 years as a stylist and designer.
